How I got sucked into this mess
This was the beginning of 1988. We were kids and we were playing with just about everything we could put our hands on. Like the old Grandfathers watch hehe...
One day my friend's father brought a radio "kit" in our playground field. This were the times when it was not so easy to buy a radio like today. I mean back than I headed my first computer, the ZX Spectrum hmm.... But to make something on your own, that was a trill, or should I say something to talk for at school.
We did the ironing stuff and wuola, no sound at all. Of coarse back than we were just joking around thinking that we are doing something really big. We were kids and we were happy for our radio. It wasn't working but who cares about it.
Even now after so many years I haven't managed to make a radio of my own. It is like a spell, radios are not for me you know.
This event made a big influence on me, so my planes to become a Engineer in the field of Chemistry Sciences, like my father by the way, were not so interesting any more. I wanted to learn for mysterious little circuits doing the job for you. Imagine some day I might even know how the computers work, or maybe some day some of the radios might work ?!?
I continued my education in a technical high school and became an Low Voltage Electronics Technician. University was what came next, but loads of stuff we did in between were the purpose of our lives. We were stronger every day, our knowledge was growing faster and as I occasionally say today we were the freaks. The ones having a greater task for tomorrow and just waiting for the next day to come, so we can tell the others what we just did. It was great just to look at their faces as we were talking. Back than I knew I was sucked in already.
